Surgery in a week----update

Thank you to everyone *****sponded to my post.  I am still nervous, but I went to a support group meeting----which I should have done way before now.  After listening to post-ops talk about their experiences I feel much better.  I know that this surgery is only a tool---a tool that will help me get the job done.  I know it will not always be easy, but I really need to be deligient, follow the rules of the surgery and listen to my body.  My husband came with me to the meeting.  Although he feels there will be BIG changes---he supports me.   I love him for that.  I hope he still feels the same way afterwards.  THANK YOU again to everyone who helped me feel at ease about the surgery.  Although I am still a little nervous about the surgery itself, I am much better about my decision.  I hope everyone has a great day.   Cathy
