Joann,  I wish you a fast and speedy recovery. You will be home in a couple of days and I will save a seat on the loosers bench for you.  The only advice I can give you is walk the halls in the hospital as much as you can even if you don't feel like. I had open Rny and went home in three days only stayed over two nights, because I walked and walked. I couldn't sleeep in the middle of the night so I had them give me my break through pain shot in my butt and uses my morphene pump every 6 min. if you want someone to walk the halls with ask your nurse if therer is any other person in the hall who had Wls so you can introduce yourself and walk together. I met the nicest women in the hospital her surgery was the same day as mine and we walk ed together. WE have also talked to each other on the phone  a few times since we have been home now .I have been home  a week now and made a wonderfull freind. You will be fine and I will be talking too you soon. Don't be afraid to take the painpills by mouth they don't get stuck, the liquaid will make you gag it is grose. Sheila
