Hi all!

You ladies were right once again...easy squeezy!! LOL
EKG,urine,blood,x-ray...done! Now I just have my Clearence appt Monday with my PCP.
My friend Tracy went with me (she had lap rny 4/27, 53lbs lost). We met these 2 really nice women there who were also Dr. Caruana's patients. They said that the reason Dr. P left Synergy is because he has 2 malpractice lawsuits on him. They said he had lost 2 of his patients. I don't know how true this is but how can one's family sue for malpractice if they know about the risks prior to surgery?

Anyways.............all I know I am one step closer to surgery!! 10 days and counting!!

debi, i'm glad you went . Don't cahnge your mind. You have more of a chance dying in a car accident then dying in surgery. You will be fine Dr caruanna is a very skilled dr with many years of surgical experience. Everday it get better. Today has been only one week and I am only taking 1 pain pill by mouth every 6 hours. Down from two every 4 hours. the first three days are hell and then just a little uncomfortable. Dr caruanna has not had hardly any leaks.so don't wory about that poor Scott person. WE don't know all the specifics either. You will be just fine and you will do wonderful. You will have a much healthier and happy life. Sheila

Sheila, Did you ask someone about Dr. Caruana's statistics for leaks, etc. I am truly glad to hear that. I have to say that I was more than a little scared when I read that post.
