Meds after WLS??

hi debi:  well, i am in your spot.....i have two bad knees and had surgeries on both... i have hip  and ankle arthritis and severe low back pain...i take celebrex 2oo mg. 2 x a day....i must stop it before surgery and all other anti inflammatories....so i am hoping the arthritis i have will get better after wls, like othere have mentioned here.........and i really think it will.........i , personally, would rather take nothing anyway....anti inflammatory drugs all upset the stomach lining and liver enzymes get screwed up, too....that has lot to do with not taking them after wls surgery...the tummy  will have enough to adjust too....these drugs only add to nausea........give it some time...you may not need anything....love, hugs,best wishes,  christina
