Tessie, Don't feel bad...I had second thoughts even the day of the surgery. Just call the hospital and reschedule. The blood tests they do that day are processed immediately so I don't think it will effect your surgery date. I am so glad that I followed through and had the surgery and you will be too. Rosemary

IMAGINE NOT BEING AFRAID OF THE SURGERY AND BEING AFRAID OF RIDING AN ELEVATOR. SHAME ON ME. GOD IS IN CONTROL OF MY LIFE. HE HOLDS ME IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND AND WE LIVE EVERYDAY BY HIS GRACE. I JUST FORGOT WHERE MY STRENGTH COMES FROM TEMPORARILY. THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE, AND THANKS FOR THE PRAYERS.

Not sure if it is any help but the elevators at sisters are very quick. You will be on the floor you need almost immediately after pushing the button. Just say a little prayer after the door closes and they will be open by the time your done talking with God! Best of luck Sally

hi, hon You get on that phone right now and reschedule. You don't have a choice if you don't have this surgery you will most likely die anyway. You can't walk or do any thing. youi need to do this for you and your kids they need you. if you don't do this they wil not have amother. You fought so hars to get theese kids to live with you so you have to do this. Yes it is a liitle painfull but nothing that isn't tollerable. I started crying while in the holding area before they took me in and dr c came over and put is arm on me and said it is gonna be fine. I was fine he was right. Don't change your mind you came so far to turn back now. I am sorry if I comming off so blunt. but you need this surgery to have any quality of life. Sheila
