I just had surgery on June 26th and I am finding some confusion and seeking guidence. I have this booklet of information on the food I eat. Now a lot of it like cottage cheese I do not eat or the grits. Yogart is the bomb for me. But I am confused when I introduce new foods. I ate hamburger last night and think I did something wrong and made myself vomit. I am scared I am eating things to fast. And what is the full feeling all you talk about cause I am not feeling it. After 3 1 oz meals and my water and vitomens. Im not eatting anything else. Im afraid i am not going to lose. I see no change and its been a week...help..im so confused...

Just one thing...I think its way to early to eat hamburger.  You have to build up to "real" food..time to call your Dr's office and get info on your food schedule.  It will be a good 6 weeks before you can start introducing regular food.

If it makes you feel any better, go look at my thread above. Don't know what your guidelines are, but per my nut's instructions, it's too early for u to be eating hamburger unless it's pureed.

Sorry you had a tough time, but I agree totally with Rosemary!  I am 8 weeks out and just had my first beef hamburger.  I did have turkey burger at 6 weeks out.  Definitely check this out!

Hi,    I agree with everyone else that it was probably too soon. My Doc had me on liquids for 4 weeks. Purees & softs for another 6 and then I finally tried meat. Take it easy and take it slow. Also I found that when I was not losing as quickly it actually helped to up my intake of both liquids and protien. Good luck!
