Can't eat ...7 weeks later need feed back

7 weeks out fro gastric by pass and still sick! Can anyone tell me what si going on...Some days I can eat an egg and then other days I vomit? Is this happening to  anyone else ?  I had flounder and threw up all night.  I an not eat much at all ...Unfortunatly  I can eat a baked potatoe and feel good.  But not a great choice! I feel like a freak! I eat a tablespoon of food and feel like I had a Thanksgiving meal. I feel full and I get that pain like I can't eat another thing for a week.  Please help me with some feed back. I feel so alone.  Thanks, Jilly

I didn't have the same surgery as you, but if your concerned call your surgeon.  Yes the first month or two after surgery SUCKS...but it does get easier (regardless of the surgery).     Scott

Hello,  I would call your doctor. I am 6 weeks out and eating a 1/4 to a 1/2 cup of food. Eggs were fine for me in the second week. We are all different but yours seems kind of extreme. Throwing up is not good for your pouch. Are you sure you are chewing enough? Good luck to you!

You really need to be in contact with your surgeon from the get go.  Never wait this long babe.  You should not be suffering.  I had the Lap BAnd and some days somethings work and some days others don't.  It just depends.  But what you are saying seems extreme and you need to be looked at.  (((HUGS)))
