Let's talk about dessert

The ice cream post below got me thinking....what have you come up with for dessert ideas.  For those times that the desire hits, I already figured I would do the South Beach idea of eating ricotta with some splenda and cinammon (yummy).  And Jamie's post about doing frozen protein drinks is brilliant.

What have you been having for dessert?

I love the sugar-free creamsicles.  I also do the snack size puddings for desert if I need something sweeter.

The snack size pudding is a good idea.

Sugar free pudding and fudgies!  I am so depressed.  I didn't check the SCHWAN order when the man left it yesterday.  He gave me regular fudgies!!!  2 weeks without my fudgies!  EEEEK!  I'll pawn them off on the neighbor kids!  LOL

Ok, so the idea of the ricotta sounded great!    I just got some.  I'll try it later on.  I was eating the ricotta as my soft food a couple of weeks ago.  After the chicken incident today, I'm thinkin' I'd rather stay on soft foods!!!

Rachelle, I was on South Beach too (who wasn't?) and liked the ricotta w/vanilla extract & splenda. I hope I still like it after surgery.

Dr. Garber was saying something about frozen Rediwhip, regular & chocolate.

That reminds me of a Weigh****chers dessert I used to make.  Take 1 TBSP of Fat Free Cool Whip and put it between a low fat chocolate graham cracker that has been broken in half to make 2 squares.  Freeze for a few hours and it's like an ice cream sandwich.

When I was trying to do low carb (not easy as a vegetarian) I got hooked on the ricotta dessert.  If you are into the Davinci Sugar Free Syrups, they were good in there also to make different flavors.

I just bought some of the syrups. They are the only thing that make my protein supplements palatable. I only eat kosher products, and that's really limiting on the supplement front. DO NOT EVER TRY HEMP PROTEIN...IT LOOKS AND TASTES LIKE DIRT!
