Sick soo sick 5 days after surgery

Please any feed back will be comforting just not to feel alone with this.... Feel like morning sickness 24/7 does it go away? I can't drink or eat anything not even tea...... Thanks, Jill

Did the DR give you anything for the nasua? I am still on nexium and something else for my stomach almost 2 weeks out. You may want to contact your DR and voice your concerns.

Jill, Hun call the Dr and see what he says about this, it might be nothing but it does not hurt to check. ~hugs~ I know I was not really hungry and did have some nasua but not as bad as yours is sounding but remember we are all different hun. Jill, I would check with your Dr. on getting some medicine for the nausea. I had it bad in the hospital and the medicine really helped. I also had dry heaves for a while which it helped. I am 5 days out now and it has straightened out. Good Luck! ~~Betsy

JILL: I AM YELLING LOUDLY PLEASE PLEASE RUN TO A LOCAL ER, CALL YOUR SURGEON NOW THIS MINUTE, DEHYDRATION CAN BE DEADLY! The nausea can exa erbate the dehydration and it in turn exacerbates the nausea, you may have a serious life threatening issue or compliation if u can not kp anything down, this is not norml or expected, are u running now. I pled w/ you to get medical attention asap do not wait. Hugs and check in w/ us after please.... take it from me I had a strictre 4 wk postop and could of been worse if I hadnt of gone to Er I had to have a second surgery but I was fien if I had waited could of needed major revision w/ dead boel etc. please run and dont delay!I now the awful nausea u r describing...
