I would say the same thing that Marie said, there are many that are vegitatians around the site I am sure.....maybe they will post to this as well. Did you try posting this on the main board as well?

Not to discount a doctor, but it's not only possible, it's probable. There are many vegetarian postops of WLS. They eat balanced foods to glean complete protein or consume whey (or rice and/or soy proteins if they are vegan).
