Pain in side/back after surgery?????

I was wondering if anyone had pain kindof on the right side under bra strap going into the back after surgery-- I've been using heating pad. I had so much energy 10 days after surgery and now at 3 weeks out feel pretty tired. I'm wondering if this is from the pain I'm getting. Just curious.... Jackie

Hi Jackie. I always have "come and go" aches,(even before surgery) so I'm not a good one to ask. LOL. (Old Age????) Is the intensity increasing, staying the same or somewhat subsiding? Did it just start or has it been days? Are you bothered by gas from the surgery still? You don't want to fool around with pain because you are pretty much fresh out of surgery. Make a phone call to the Dr. and he'll want to see you if he thinks that it is something to be concerned with. I'm sure that it is nothing at all, maybe even as silly as sleeping the wrong way. Hello hun ~hugs~ I would say the same thing that Nicole said, call the Dr and ask because it can not hurt and you will feel better that you called! I hope you are feeling better soon, remember it takes a while to get back to your old self since this was a big surgery! Debra P

I'd definitely call your doc! My forearms hurt and I spoke with 2 medical ppl! When in doubt, call him/her! Hope you're feeling better soon
