Well, it's Mother's Day. I'm 5 days out. Some of the swelling in in my tummie has gone down. The only thing that hurts is my forearms. I must have battled with those straps when they were operating! I am truly amazed that my incisions, specifically my "portal", doesn't hurt. The other 4 incisions were about 1/4" in length and have lost their steri-strips When I was frustrated, angry and sobbing over the past near 2 years b/c there was no movement on my case, there were times I knew I could tell the doc, "screw it, let's RNY me". I'm glad I stuck to my guns and fought through this, waiting for my band. I never imagined things would be going so well. I know my gram's looking down protecting me!
