getting pissed off

I am so mad right now I could scream. I called my insurance company today a 4:45 pm And they have not yet received any thing from doctor yet.what the hell is taking so long it has been a week and 1 day since my appt and had all my paperwork they needed. So what takes so long for doc to dictate the letter to send off along with all my other paperwork they said they fax it all. I am just so nervous and anxiuos about getting insurance approval. All I do is eat. I can't sleep and I am misserable. The lady from insurance company said it takes two business days from when they recieve it. this is the worst part so far. all mt tests were nothing compared to this. Should I call surgeons office to ask them why my paperwork has not gone to the insurance company yet? or should I just wait?. please tell me what I should do. Sheila

Hang in there, Sheila. It will happen. But ya know, the squeaky wheel does get the grease. You want to be polite and professional, assertive and informed, but do it with grace. It will happen.

I know ya do, Honey, believe me, I really do know. I just had my physical and thought all was ready to be submitted to the insurance co, but the primary had forgotten to send in the letter of necessity. So on hold for a few more days. I may need you to remind me of this same advice in a week or two! It's gonna happen for you though, you haven't come this far to turn back or let them turn you back!

Java jane, Thank you so much for that you made me feel better. I just want this surgery like yesterday. The other day someone asked me if I was prego and I said no I'm just fat. and then I walked away. My wedding aniversary is sat and usally I put my dress on for my hubby well this year it doesn't fit again. how depressing. Talk to you later. Sheila

I'd go ahead and give them a call. The same thing happened to me and thats what I did. They know where a ball of nerves and they should be understanding. Just be friendly! Nicole
