Lapband Incisions

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since my surgery. My surgeon used a type of glue for the incisions as she said she was having good results with it. She said it was normal to have a thick brown leakage as well-which I have - but as the glue disappears I am noticing the wounds are not closing but opening - does anyone know if this is normal. I am back to work and find the 5 incisions require ALOT of maintenance...how long before they heal?

you should tell dr mine was like that and was infected.!!!!

Gosh -thanks I am glad I asked! I clean it several times a day with Hydrogen peroxide.

Defiantly contact your surgeon about that. Congrats on having surgery!!! Hope everything is fine!!!! -Nicole

YIKES! I hope Dr. Simon doesn't use "glue". Good luck with this!
