Almost my first year anniversary

Wed will mark my first anniverary of my WLS. What a year it has been!! I had complications early, but once I got past them, it's been a wonderful year. I have lost more pounds than I weigh. Had I known how phenomenal this whole journey would have been, I would have opted to do it a few years earlier. But hindsight is 20/20. Today I will be doing the MS Walk from the South Street Seaport. My son is doing the walk with me, which touches me since he's 16 and what 16 year old will actually volunteer to do something where they have to spend time with their mother??!! Anyway, think good thoughts for us today. We have the weather on our side which is a gift in itself! Enjoy the day! Sue
