Question about therapists

I am in the Buffalo, NY area and I am 3 weeks post op. I am in major need of some individual counseling. Can anyone refer me to a therapist in the Buffalo area that deals with food issues and possibly people who have had the surgery? Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

I am not from Buffalo so I cannot help. Have you tried talking to your surgeon to see if he can give you some numbers? Maybe also try your primary. ((HUGS))

Hi Stacey, I live in Lockport and had the surgery 1/06..... I have not seen a therapist but there is someone who is a nurse practicioner who came to my support group meeting a couple months ago. She does not take insurance and I heard she charges $65 a session. Let me know if I can help.. Hugs Chris and good luck!
