I'm so upset!

I need to vent a bit... Just when I think I'm taking a step forward towards surgery I get knocked two steps back! I just got the results from my mamo. I have a spot on my right breast! Now I have to go in for a spot compression test. "GREAT" More added stress to my everday life! I pray to God that it's not cancer! Debi

Debi, Although only 5-10% of suspicious abnormalities on mammograms turn out to be breast cancer, it's normal to feel scared until the doctor tells you you're in the clear. The waiting is the hard part because our minds tend to play out all the "what ifs." Keep reminding yourself that the odds really are in your favor. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Cassie

Debi, you will be in my prayers. I had the same thing happen to me before my breast reduction surgery in 2002, it was not cancerous, I am believing with all my heart that it is the same for you. I know it is an awful scary feeling. Take care sweetheart. NoraLynn
