I,M HOME BUT WHAT A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everybody im happy to say I am home, surgery went well but post op not so good. I was dealing with some unusual symptoms when I got home. First of alll let me tell you dr, garber is a gem of all gems I could not have gotten better care.Ok so I have an infection so right away I was started on antiobiotics. Just about 2 days of being home I had some bleeding issues so I went back to the hosp. Had cat scan and full w/u done. Thank you God no leaks. Today is only day 8 post op but I finally feel better besides a real bad shoulder pain which I am not sure what from I don't think it's gas but it's driving me crazy. Well with all that said I would like to thank all of you who signed my surgery support page it meant so much. And patty if you read this I hope your doing well it was nice to meet you. Oh my what a week you have had. I"m sorry that you had to go through that. I'm glad that you are feeling better. It does get better each day. I've still got some gas lingering. How are you doing with getting in your protein and water. I was struggling the first few days but it getting a little better each day. I bored with the foods already. I can't wait to get these drains out. Maybe I will see you on thursday at Dr. Garbers. I'm glad that you posted because I was wondering how you were doing. Hugs, Patricia

hey pattricia, i am going to see dr. holiver today because dr. garber is at a conference. i,m hoping and praying that the drains come out today but dr. garber said don't bet on it because of the infection. as far as the water and protein goes can't do it but i'm tryin really hard. well i'm glad your doing well i will talk to ya soon hugs lori

Lori welcome home love! We are glad you are healing!! Feel better! Lots of walking is what I heard does wonders from the pain in the shoulder from the gas.
