I just heard that some insurance companies won't cover the lap band surgery if the BMI is over 50 (in which case they believe gastric bypass is the way to go). Does anyone know if this is the case with GHI (CBP)? I really hope not...
Make the call from your insurance company tomorrow so that you don't have to worry yourself sick and there will be no second guessing. The insurance company requirements vary from company to company.
