Hi Noelle! Yes it's good to be back and offer support for those beginning their journeys. I was glad I had this place when I was just starting my Preop testing and made a lot of friends and found the best Angel in the world, Alice. I'm glad it's not raining anymore! Marilyn

Hi Marilyn! I love seeing you folks who've "been there, done that" posting! It gives us newbs a real picture of the struggles you face, but also an unbelievable source of inspiration! Your photos are wonderful. You were beautiful before your surgery and are absolutely stunning now, and what a gorgeous family you have! I'm so glad you are feeling better also! A quick question for you...on your medic alert bracelet, do you put that you had a Lap RNY and list your vitamins (assuming you're not taking other meds as well) or do you just list your vits and supps, stating medical necessity? Hope this makes sense.

Thanks Jane! My Medic Id only says (GASTRIC BYPASS NO NG TUBE WITHOUT SCOPE) That's in case you pass out they don't break your pouch by putting in an NG tube down your throat and cause a lot of damage, scary but that's what can happen, I thank God everyday I had my MedicID bracelet on when I fainted that time! Phew! It is an incredible journey and I have no regrets, it's been a great tool to have so far. Marilyn

Hi Jaime, Welcome back, I'm glad I came back too, we will always need to support each other because the "others" (Non WLS people, LOL ) don't understand what we go through. My doctor said if my iron levels don't get better in the next months I too will have to get iron infusions. I'm really working hard at getting my iron levels to a normal or close to normal level. Please contact me if you need to talk! Marilyn
