The Bean or the The Ball?
Hi all! I am a newbie here and waiting to see if I can have the surgery. Actually I just went for blood work today..hey its a start...LOL My question is which is better? The Bean or the Ball? I understand they want you to start excersing to build up your core before surgery. I am just afraid my fat butt will fall off the Ball. Anyone have the Bean? If you do, how would you rate it? Thanks a bunch!

I use my ball all the time...but the beans commercial looks "enticing". The benefits of the ball is that keeping yourself on it, helps strenthen your core muscles and gives you stablity. The bean on the other hand would seem to be helpful if you were "afraid" to fall off. I got my ball at Marshalls for about 10 dollars, I don't know how much the bean costs exactly...but I do know it costs at least 3 times that amount on the infomercial.
Depending on your fitness level you might just want to start walking. You'll want to build cardiovascular health before surgery....the only way to do that is through cardio. The bean and the ball are normally more strength building although you can do some cardio with it.

I literally just got my bean last night... I was exhausted by the time I got home so I basically blew it up sat on it while watching one of the DVD's and promptly fell asleep ! Tonight I should be awake and be able to actually make it thru the DVD's and find the best starting workout. I also ordered that Flex10 thingy ! I'll let ya know how things look after I get thru the DVD's !
