When I was bloated after surgery I had some peppermint tea... it didn't really help that much but it was kind of soothing. I think you just have to wait until the gas escapes your body really! Sorry I can't be more help.

Oh Boy! If you can try to walk around a lot. That's what my Doc insisted and I swear it helped. Aww. I hope that you feel better - and soon. Take Care~~

Hi, I can soooooooooooo relate to your pain. I am 6 days out and I was in the same boat up until a day or so ago. Mine has finally diminished to next to nothing. Walking around the house helped me tremendously. Also my doctor told me to try drinking decaf tea or coffee, as they tend to help. I took the suggestion for tea and between that and walking the gas is about gone. Keep your chin up, it will get better. Janet

Thanks for the hugs ... I could tolerate the stitches and the muscle soreness but the pain coming from the gas is something else.

sorry you are in pain! You can keep on walking and when you lie down, lie on your left side with a pillow between your knees it'll help alleviate some of the pain. You can take Gas X and that'll help a bit. Andi
