Robyn I have not had my surgery yet that comes on the 24th for me but I just know some one will answer you! I would call your Dr and ask if it is normal??? Good luck!

Hi Robyn, Congratulations on your surgery. There is no "normal" fill. It really depends on your surgeon and how much restriction you have, which the doctor can tell by your weight loss and what you tell him you can tolerate or can't. My surgeon is very conservative on the fills, doing them very slowly. Your surgery was only one month ago, so you are still healing. My appointments were about 6-8 weeks apart. I have the 10cc band so I have had several fills since my surgery. I was very frustrated in the beginning before I had restriction but now looking back, I can understand why he chose to do it in small amounts. I have only had 3 episodes of sliming/puking in a year and a half only due to my own fault (eating fast and not chewing enough)...not by the band being too tight. So try to be patient. Come over to the lapband message board, there are a lot of fellow bandsters that can help answer your questions and concerns there also. Best wishes, Dee
