pain after stretching of a stricture??

I put a call into my surgeon today, and his nurse called back and told me to stay on liquids for a couple days, then try pureed. (had the EGD tuesday)...since then I'm having a hard time with the smell of any food, only got in 25oz of liquid today, and in the middle of my abdomen is very tender...has anyone had any of these symptoms? thank you lori

Hi Lori, Sorry you're having a tough time. I've never had a stricture, but I would call the MD again and advise him of your symptoms. You can't be too careful at this stage of the game. Good luck and keep us posted! Hugs, Amy
