Well I got home yesterday and I have to say I am SORE. I get around ok but forget about lying down and getting up. I can't do it myself. So far all I can tolerate is sips of water and clear broth. Apple juice sent me into a tailspin of pain. I'm guessing its too gassy. Is this normal? How long does it take for the pain to start subsiding? Soon to be thinner Sharon

Thanks for all the well wishes. I was given a script for vicoden and held out as long as I could but I gave in and sent my daughter to fill it. So glad to be on the losing side! Sharon

Hi Sharon, Congratulations! If you are in pain, other than discomfort, you should call Dr. Geiss. For me, I didn't need any pain killers. I was just sore and uncomfortable for a few days. You should be ok by now (I hope). Dr. Geiss and his staff are wonderful. Let us know how you are progressing. You are on your way! Best wishes, Dee
