Worried about Sagging Skin
I'm having my lap band surgery tomorrow and although I think of it as an exciting new phase in my life ... I cant help but worry about sagging skin. I look at the before and after pictures of the people in this website and they all look GREAT !!!
I hate excercise in any shape and form ... and I know I dont have a choice but to do it to avoid having sagging skin ...
Has anyone had to do a tummy tuck or lip on the hips and arms to get nicely shaped arms, hips and thighs ???
If so ... does anyone know how much it will cost. Thanks ....

Hi,
no , I haven't had a tummy tuck or any other surgery--I do exercise and I do have some sagging skin--but I am also 62 --so I can't expect miracles. Truthfully--sagging skin isn't as bad as you may think--and If you are a younger person you may find that you still have enough elasticity (and have good genetics) so that the sagging skin won't be as much of a problem as you think it will be.
Don't sweat the small stuff! I still look good in clothes and I try to ignore the sagging thighs--a size six pants is ok when you are in skinny jeansand walking down the street.
Only you will worry about the sagging skin--believe it or not--your boyfriend or husband won't mind as much as you do--and if he really loves you--- he will love you fat or thin-- saggy or not!
I must tell you that you may hate exercise now--but when you start to see the wonderful results --you will get hooked on exercise--it is good for you and you WILL feel better when you do it! --try water exercises--Once you are in the pool --not one can see your body--and it is great for toning. Whatever you do--eat right take your vitamins --drink lots of water and EXERCISE--and everything will be great--you are on one wonderful journey now--so , like I said --don't sweat the small stuff!

Thank you so much for your response. I just got home from having the surgery last Tuesday so now ... all I can think about is healing as fast as I can so I can start doing my regular activities without any problems. I will start doing excercises once Dr. Powers gives me the a-okay. Take care and again ... thank you for the response.
