Need a friend...

I am looking for someone who can be of a support to me when I have my surgery I live in Canajoharie, NY. Is there anyone near me who can do that?

Hi Elisabeth, First, congratulations on your decision to have the surgery. Where are you planning to to go? I am having my surgery today at Albany Med. I live about 20 minutes north of Albany, about an hour from you. I would be happy to support you in anyway I can. Also, keep posting on this sight whenever you have questions and concerns. if you cant find someone close by PLEASE utilize this board i have made many many friends here and it has been my main source of support..... use this board for questions and just to vent if need be you will be overwhelmed with support and replies.....there are a lot of sucessful post ops and lots of newbies that will be happy to be there for you !!!!! good luck on your upcoming surgery and i hope to hear from you soon..... the more you stay on the board the easier it gets !!!!! stacy

I live pretty close to you...I am going to Dr. Clarke at Ellis... I live in Perth....feel free to talk to me anytime.... things happen fora reason I'm told..Things will getter better ..stay focused and positive all will work out in the ennd it will be all worth it!! want2bfatfree **I'm staying anonymous for now... lots of people in my life would not be positive about this so.. this way I don't have to hear any negativity for now!! I want positive people in my life and most of my family is but outside of my family there are some many who would not be... so for now things will stay as they are...

Hi Elizabeth, I live in Kenmore,NY. I can't be physically close but you can email me and let me know how things are going. I don't have a surgery date but am working my way to it.
