OK here we go - I'm brand new

Hello, I can sure use some help here. This process is new. I am excited for the approval from insurance and the surgery date of 4/17/2007. Anyone with some comforting words or experiences may want to reply. Thanks everyone!

Since you're getting the band, you may want to also check out the lap band board here on OH.... and since you're a guy (I'm assuming since you're name is Eric) check out the Men's board since us guys are such a minority in WLS (roughly 10-15%) and get a little insight from other men. Lastly, though I had a different procedure, I can tell you that you've made an excellent choice in surgeons (the whole group at Manhattan Min Invasive). My surgeon is one of the partners there, but I had experience in the hospital with all 3... and regarding the band, they were one of the groups conducting clinical trials to help Inamed get FDA approval for the band. best of luck.
