GHI [CPB] and Plastics

WHO to go to for the best coverage? I have a hernia that needs imminent repair, but would also like a full TT and boob lift/augmentation. Anyone?

You can probably call GHI directly for a list of doctors, or go to the website and do a search by CBP. You can also search OH http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/plastic+surgeons+in+new+york.html I am sure you'll be able to find a good one. I know that you'll need to questions your policy because most insurance companies will only cover medically necessary PS. Good Luck Molly

GG Get a referral from your WLS who is a VERY experienced post bariatric body contouring Plastic surgeon and interview a couple! Consider you may be paying for a FULL TUMMY TUCK and BOOB lift/augmentation b/c typically IF any PS is covered it is a panniculectomy. This may shave a thousand dollars off the TT, but the lift/augment wont be covered (*not medically necessary they will reject the codes) a breast reduction sometimes is covered w/ enough tissue removed. Sometimes WLS/Plastic surgeons workin tandem to do a hernia and then plastics. The hernia surgery may also lessen the bill you have for the hospital and anesthesia etc....
