need general surgeon

I need to have surgery,not WLS> and was wondering if anyone knew of a surgeon in NY that would operate on someone obese.Why will they do WLS, but not general surgery on the obese. Thanks if anyone can help me

depends what kind of surgery you need i had my gallbladder remove and my wls will be in april

Where are you in New York? What kind of surgery do you need? If it is medically necessary they would have to perform it. If it is elective, that is a different story. Guess there really needs to be a little more information in order to help you out. Good Luck Sally
