nervious newbie surg 3/27/07

Hello everyone!!! I just wanted to introduce myself to the group and get some words of encouragement. My date for RNY is only 2 days away 3/27/07 and I am in a nervious reck. I am also very excited. I am new to leaving comments I'm figuring it out as I go, but reading all your blogs to each other have made fell better. I just need some words of wisdom directed toward me personally. thanks Stephanie

good luck ;-) i dont have a surgery date yet but it wil be middle of april hopefully think positive and pray a lot God you will be your surgeon and you will be fine just follow the doctor advise and take it easy i hope you have friends and family support that really help and keep me post about it because i will be in the same table in less than a month love and good luck hilda bronx nyc

Stephanie congrats on your up coming surgery. Nice deep breaths! Just think of your new life...think how fantastic you are going to feel. (((HUGS))) for the nerves!

Hi Stephanie, I am also getting ready to have surgery on 4/2. You will be fine and when its all said and done, you are going to be so happy. Keep thinking of all the positives that will come out of this for you and remember that its the start of a wonderful healthy new life. Good luck! Janet

Hi stephanie I too am going in for surgery my dates the 4th i have talked to alot of people who have had the surgery and they say just be calm and try to stay positive think of all the good things that are going to come out of having surgery and as long as you have positive people who love you and support you you will do great... please let us know how your surgery went.. good luck and best wishes Holly

Its natural to be nervous just try and do things to keep yourself busy till tuesday. I am sure that you will do just fine
