Just wanted to say hi. I've been on the site and read alot of posts and finally signed on as a member!! my name is Cindy, and have been researching/deciding for about 2 years now.... and now have taken the plunge. Had the first informational meeting in 10/06. Met with the Doctor 11/28 and just a few weeks ago I received a letter with all my pre op testings and a surgery date. which is 8/6. I'm sure it'll be here soon enough. But I'm ready now. :) :) Looking forward to chatting with you all. Have a great day/night!!

Welcome. It sounds as if you have taken your time to research everything pertaining to this WLS - and that's a good thing. You are right about Aug. 6th being here before you know it. Somehow it just flies by. I wish you all the best and please keep on posting. Take Care~~~ Diane

Welcome!!!! You'll see once you have this surgery you'll feel like a new person. I do! I went into my surgery with a big smile I already lost almost 10lbs in 4 days! WOW can't believe it myself! Good luck to you and let us know how everything goes!

Hello there!! I too am having surgery at Ellis too!! I am having Dr clarke do my surgery laproscopic!!! I live in Perth 10-15 mins from the lake... congratulations !!!
