hi i just had the surgrey 8 days ago i think i am doin just fine. i got out of the hospital saturday and by sunday i took a drive with my hubby to a few stores i took it easy and used the motor chair when needed was looking for somethings i could use for the next few weeks i felt fine just tired the only thing that bothered me was the bumps in the road .i took it easy most of the week but i just cant seem to stay at home i fell helpless so i will take a ride to take my lil to pre k and to her dance. the other day when i did stay home all day seemed to be the worse i didnt feel great but wasnt anything to worry about my chest is very large so i decided to try to put on a sports bra since i thought that wouldnt dig into any of my incisions i only wear underwires and i dont want to rub into the staples but when i put on the sports bra it hurt a lil put put on my left side i felt like i was having a muscle spazam but i finally got it on took some protein and a few vit and layed down when i woke i felt like i was a lil warm but couldnt find the therameter ( i have 5 kids who love to touch everything) my husband was on call he said he would bring it home when he gets done and this went on for hrs by the time he was coming home from work and went to get the things i needed i felt real bad i got up to go to the bathroom and i felt nauseas and weak . i cried and freaked im scared of something tearing inside . i went back in bed and when i did i took off the sports bra and opened some windows and after ten mins my fever broke. thought this was weird and i just figured if something else like this happens ill call the doc but i didnt want to call him without knowing if it was a fever. but since then i am ok no other problems feel kinda good the past two days ok well talk to all soon go to my first doc appt tomorrow hope i lost something

Hi Kelly.... First of all Congrats on your surgery! I can sympathize with your feeling housebound. I too liked to get out even if it was just a short ride around town.... It is tuff being stuck in the house when you are used to going all of the time. Good luck tomorrow at your doctors Appt. and don't be afraid to call them when youare having issues. It is better to be safe than sorry. nipping an infection quickly is important. If you think you have a fever you should always call. Again.. Good luck tomorrow... Hugs... Lori
