New to Site, 1st Consult yesterday
Hello all. I am new to this whole process. I had my first consultation with the dr. yesterday, I have my psych eval next week, then its just waiting for my insurance to approve before scheduling the surgery. I am having mixed emotions, so excited, nervous, scared!!! Mostly excited though. Just wanted to drop a note and introduce myself!.

So it looks like you are on your way. It would not be normal if you didn't have those emotions. I hope you researched everything and asked a lot of questions.
Also, do you know what you're insurance company requires of you to have this surgery? Some make it very clear that you have to have Six months documentation with your PCP to keep track of weight loss regimen and exercise.
