SUPPORT ON LONG ISLAND

Im looking to head up a support group in my home in selden I feel its an important tool in WLS... If anyone is interested give me a shout at [email protected] and we can come up with a night thats good for everyone...... We can make it like a favorite recipie night or things like that or just to chat and see what going on with each other .... I stopped having them for a while cause no one was showing up but now the weather is nice I think we can start again .....Again if your interested please email me and let me know what works for you stacy

Hi Stacy! Would love to join another group but Selden is a little far from me. Right now I go to the bariatric group in W Islip at Good Samaritan Hospital. They meet every other Sat morning from 9-10:30 am. Its a large group and sometimes it feels more like an info session for pre-ops though... Hey Debra! Hope all is well. Would love to get together again when you are back on the island. Time flies. When we met I was pre-op! Dee

thats probaby why i stopped goin to my surgeons support group i needed a more intamate setting first they started out to be like an info session and then i made it like a get together of bariatric patients recipies and such .... so if its once a month wha the hell babylon isnt that far ya know ...... when i first started having them it was standing room only then they died down.... well you decide im going to get going and figure on a day good luck to you and thats great that you attend at least one support group.....
