Insurance Approval!!

What tests did you have to go for? are you doing lap or open? did you have to go for a scope or an upper GI? So far I have done all the tests I need blood work, psy eval Passed, sleep study,have a mild case of apnea but doesn't require cpap at this time. Got chest x ray,ekg,doctors letters,going for upper GI after easter.had abdominal ultrasound. So I'm hopping they will send my paperwork into the insurance company at my 1st appt which won't be until may or June. I even went to a support group meeting on fri but it was canceled hope to go next month, Do you have a support group that you attend? congratulations on your surgery date. I hope I don't have to wait 6 months. That would suck consdering I already have all my tests done. Before I even go to my appt, which isn't even with the doc it is with the nurse practioner and the nutrionist. I called the other day to ask if I could loose weight before my appt and she said well if you can loose weight then why do you need surgery. I said because any body can loose weight on a diet it is keeping it off, thats the problem. I am the perfect yo yo dieter. my metoblisisim is non exsistant.
