Hello my OH Family ~hugs~ Been a little bit since I posted, just so busy with looking for a new job and keeping up with my ebay store. All is good though I am NOT sticking to the best eating plan and it seems I need to come back and get into the swing of things again as I have gained 10 lbs. I am still doing my treadmill 3 X a week so I am so very upset with the increase, if I was not doing that it would have been more! I need to get my motivation back so if anyone can yell, inspire or just chat please post and give some advice as I have missed my OH family! Oh yeah and I want to eat EVERYTHING in site! love you guys Debra P

Hi Debra, I was wondering where you were. Glad to see that you came back for some support Look how far you've come - Don't go backwards now ... full steam ahead - maybe up your works outs to 4 days? Are you working out in your target heart range? I know that really helps. You can do it ... tell those 10 pounds to take a hike. Take charge - you can do it!!!! Hugs, Britt

Britt, Yeah I am still here though busy with life but now knowing that I NEED to stick around because life sure can bring back your old bad habits that is for sure! I was thinking the same thing, adding a day and I am hoping that once this nice weather comes I can do some walking at lunch as well. I am watching my target though I do not think my pulse meter is correct on my treadmill, do you know what others are good that I can wear. Also I am not 100% sure what my rate should be. Any help would be great! Yeah I am 25 lbs away from my own goal and now 8 from my surgeons so I need to get busy and step to it! Getting serious again is all that will work! Thanks hun Debra P

http://www.bodytronics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=polar_monitors Hi Deb, I use the polar heart rate monitor ... I attached a link for you. Goolge 'target heart range' and you can get an idea of what your target heart range should be. The monitor will also come with info about finding your target heart rate. Wow you are so close to Dr. Garber's goal and your own. When did he give you his goal? I have to ask that at my next appontment. Hugs, Britt

Britt, YEAH thanks so much hun ~hugs~ I will look into this so I can become better at my work outs. I know it feels so good when I get working hard and breaking a sweat. I add some jogging in there as well but only like 6 mins at this time but break it out in 2 mins each. I had to email Dr Garber and ask him for that! I reached his goal a little bit back but now since I gained some I am up past it again I know the 5 lbs will come off soon so that one I am not so upset about but I want to each my own goal before I even think about PS! Thanks again hun Debra P

Moozt...will guilt work? I have read your posts and am so inspired by your progress. You HAVE to keep it up because as a pre-op, going in March 19th, I need all the people I can get to look up to. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm??? Did the guilt work? All kidding aside, I wish you luck on getting back on track. Take Care, Diane

Hi Debra - Long time, no see. I haven't been around in a while either but I do check in from time to time and it was nice to see a name I recognize! Glad to see you are doing well. I know about the eating issues - I haven't done my best and gained a little back as well. Planning to go for an LBL in little under a month just the same. Anyway, nice to see you and keep up the good work.

Renee, hello hun ~Hugs~ Yeah I try to stay around but sometimes life gets so crazy when you are trying to build new things! Take up so much of your time but it is all good I think we all have these issues from time to time and need to know that we can always come back and talk to our OH family. I wish you all the best on your LBL, I know I told myself that I wanted to get to my own goal of 135 lbs before I can even think about it so I want to use that as motivation! Keep us posted on that hun and thanks again Debra P

Hi Debra, Glad to see you back! I'm sorry to hear about your little setback, but now's the time to center yourself and get back on track. Do you need a visit with your nutritionist to get you in the right frame of mind again? I know that always helps me. Maybe the nutritionist will have good ideas for things that you're struggling with. I hope all is going well in other realms of your life. Start your 'what did you eat' post again, and I will definitely respond! xoxoxo Amy And just in case you were interested: B:Rice cake with pbj S: Scone ( ) it was a big one too.... L: 1/2 turkey sandwich and 1/2 cup of tomato soup S: Skim milk latte D: Chicken parm with green beans Not enough water today, and no exercise either! No, no, bad dog! xoxoxoxo
