Dr. Giacomo Vinces?

I am currently trying to choose the right surgeon for me. Anyone have lapband surgery w/ Dr. Vinces? I found Dr. Kwon's website and looked in my insurances provider directory to see if he was in network w/ my insurance. He wasn't but Dr. Vinces was. Weird huh? Is it possible for one doctor in the same practice to take a certain insurance but the other doesn't? Anyway, I'm going to call tomorrow and find out if they take my insurance. I also find it strange that Dr. Kwon has a profile on here but Dr. Vinces does not. If anyone can provide some info or experiences w/ Dr. Vinces, I would appreciate it. Thanks!!

If they are in the same practice, I'm sure they both take the same insurance. Sometimes it's just easier to submit information for one DR in the practice, then to have to reapeat it for all of them. When in doubt, call and ask. Good Luck! Michelle

Hi I don't know if this response is too late for you, I was just reading some older posts and saw yours concerning Dr. Giacomo Vices. I had my surgery in Bon Secours hospital on 3/15/07 with Dr. Vinces and I think everything went perfectly. Dr. Vinces is a great surgeon and I have nothing but good things to say about Tristate Bariatrics and Bon Secours Hospital. I had a wonderful all around experience and would highly recommend Dr. Vinces. I am a RN and searched for six years for info on weight loss and best place to have it before finding Dr. Vinces and Tristate Bariatrics. It was worth the wait! Carol
