when should I be concerned

yesterday my son was polying a microwave stand in the house, the smell was too strong for me, and I ended up and since then I've been in terrible pain where the surgery was. A couple people wrote and said that it's probably because of the stomach muscles that are healing were stretched again. But it's been almost 2 whole days and I'm still in quite a bit of pain, tylenol w codeine helps a very little. How long should the stretched stomach muscles hurt that bad, or should I be concerned that it's something else. I'm able to eat some, and drink my protein, just it alot of pain.

Lori, Whenever you have concern like that, it's best to contact the surgeon. They always have on call surgeons available during the weekend. I would call today. Maybe you herniated from the force of vomiting? Maybe it's nothing, but I wouldn't sit around being worried. Call. Please let us know how it turns out. Hugs, Amy
