I was told by my MD Optisource they are chewable orange tabs. They sell them at Walgreens or Walgreens on line. You do not have to take any other vitamins with them. I chew 1 tab 4 times a day Paulette

Hi Sally, I take centrum chewables for my multi. They taste fine to me and you can buy them anywhere. I personally do not want to waste my money on "bariatric vitamins" b/c it seems just like a silly marketing thing, but that's me.

Hi there...For me i take viactive multivitamins chocolate chewable 2 times a day and citrical calcium chews 3 times a day. I also supplement iron and b 12 what ever one i find to pick up of those. The viactive and citrical make me feel like im having a treat and still getting in my vits. I just had lab work done a couple of weeks ago and it seems to be working. No deficiencies....Good luck LisaMarie

Hi: This is my 2nd atempt to answer, the 1st one was lost Ok IMHO there is no 'bariatric' vitamin. This is because no one can predict how one body will react to a wls and there are so many different procedures anyways. Mny times thse bariatric vits are costly and well people are out to make money, even surgeons can sell them and get a cut! the best vits for an individual are the ones they can afford and will take and will keep them healthy. Monitoring labs for a lifetime is imperative. So for Me what I need is this... Walmart brand (Springvalley) type vits one a day costs $9 for 300 *almost a yrs supply! Walmarts/springvalley B12 complex sublingual has 1,200mcg B12 cherrry flavored 60 days worth is $6 I take 2,000mg calcium citate a day in 500mg doses divided I use both UpcalD powder which is 227 doses in a can for $19 (Calcium and vit D) at www.bethsproteinboutique.com where i buy it. for 2 doses a day in my proten shakes, on can lasts almost 4 months! citrical tabs 2 tabs are 500mg w/ the D and MG in them I need 4 tabs day, 1 bottle of 150 is ~ $8 at walmart so it lasts me 1mo. I didn't like teir chews b/c they were more exopensive andhad 35 cal in each w/ 5 g carbs for me I at 4+ yrs out want to avoid consuming 20 g carbs *these triger my cravings!* in my calcium and 140 cal as well a day think i'd need 2 boxes a mont if I remember correctly. I tried Bariatric Advantge chewable calcium different flavors and thought yucky, sot hs is what works for me, wh works for u may be different. Ferous gluconate 300mg tabs I need one a day for my anemia I got 2 yrs out post Plastics, 100 tas in bottle for $5-6 at walmart (ask oarmacist to order for you), taken with Vit C 50g 1-2 yrs supply of 500 tabs is like ridiculosly cheap $6 or so?.... So bewary of those who may try to push bariatric vits at a huge cost! listen to all of us for choices then see what works 4 u! my labs are perfect at 4+ yrs out, so educate yourself and follow the labs ok! Honestly, 1 year and 8 months later and I still LOVE my Flinstones. My Dr. told me if I like them and they agree with me, go for it! All best, Ilyssa
