Thanks for the info. I have been at a plateau for about a month. I'm losing a lb or 2 and it varies from day to day. I had surgery in July '07 and have lost 75 - 80 lbs and can't seem to get below that. I only have about 20 more lbs to go, but, boy it sure isn't easy to get the rest off. Thanks again for the info, I definitely will give it a try. Cathie

PLEASE TELL ME THIS WORKS? OK, I haven't lost a pound since Sept. I am stuck @ 160. I am happy with my weight considering where I started out from. But I can lose more. Just not getting anywhere. Plus I know, I am not eating enough. Marie

Hi LisaMarie, I can understand the principal behind the plateau buster diet, but I think it would put me in deprivation mode and that I would rebound heavily in the binge direction if I tried it. I am becomming ever more a believer in modesty in all things. Moderate excercise, moderate eating, when I do anything extreme, it bites me in the butt! How is it working for you? Are you feeling deprived? Hugs, Amy

Hi Amy.....I am so glad you said that. I started trying to stick as close to this yesturday as possible. I did feel that way but only later on when it was close to bed time. I had a little popcorn and that took away the feeling. I didnt binge i just satisfied the need. I didnt know if i would be able to stick to this, however yesturday i did pretty good. I think this is a great plan however as you said i think it needs a little bit of carbs. Just a little lol........I know many people have done this however and done amazingly well loosing the last 10 or 15 pounds they needed. For me i just want to make sure i remember the basics and practice them every now and then so i dont forget it. If you do stray to far you will gain the weight back and that is my biggest fear. I have maintained my weight and even lost a couple more these last few weeks with the plastics however i know how easy it is to loose track. So this is just a sample and eveyone can make there little adjustments as needed. Just had to get myself back into the protein first mode..... How are you doing AMy?? Whats new with you? LisaMarie
