Just Curious...
Tomorrow is my last appt. with the PCP. He has been more than cooperative, I might add. After that we will submit to the insurance company. As of now my tentative date is March 19th.
My question is if the insurance company covers all pe-op testing for surgery, how can they turn around and deny you for the procedure? Wouldn't that be a waste of their time and money?
Just curious....this didn't happen to me-YET.
I'm keeping real low key because I hate that anxiety ridden "crawley skin" feeling.
I have to believe that all the kinks will be worked out until I have the surgery. I've done the best I can with documentation and such. I can't do any more.
I don't know if you remember me , but I was very confused and flip flopping about which procedure would be right for me. Now I feel very secure about the Lap RNY.
P.S. The surgeon's office just called and said to get my PCP's paper work in ASAP tomorrow. I have AETNA which is supposedly a horror and we might be cutting it close. If I don't get an OKAY in time, then my next tentative date will be April 16th.
Oh well. As I said before, I refuse to make myself crazy over this. It will come in it's own time and this might not be mine on March 19th. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited as the next guy, but I need to just go with the flow.
