I feel defeated!

I went to my dr appointment yesterday and found out independent health had approved my surgery! I was so happy! then I came home from work today and there was a letter in my mailbox saying that effective 3/1/07 I will have to switch to something called family health plus and of course independent health is not one of there providers! So I guess I have to start all over! Have been crying since I found out! Just doesn't seem fair!

So have the surgery before 3/1/2007. You've got two weeks. They can bump you up!

Bethany: Can you call your surgeons office, and explain your situation to them and find out what their recommendation is, #1 if they can get you a surgery date before 3/1, #2 if not possible on your/their end what would be the next best choice for insurers for surgical approval, they may know which ones approve and which require more stringent preop requirements such as a preop medically supervised diet etc. It may not matter even if you switch it may take a little more time but if you consider frameing it that everingthing happens when the time is best for you, even if a little longer wait is involved.
