Choose 2 Lose Bariatric Center, check it out.
I've noticed that Kenny B. has posted information on this great operation.
The store is wonderful, providing in-stock items to meet the diverse needs of WLS individuals. In the store there are all kinds of supplements and foods that make this trip a bit easier, and the personnel, Lisa and Robin, are themselves WLS patients, providing expertise that can't be found in just books.
Along with this great store, there are weekly meetings for the two major stages of WLS. One group is for the people considering WLS, and the other group is for people that have had the WLS. It is not unusual to find a mix of people at both meetings, because these groups are truly help groups.
I would suggest you contact Choose 2 Lose Bariatric Center. Their phone no. is 845-227-1949. You would probably want to check out the support groups also. There are people there from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, covering the gamut of surgical procedures.
Noel - you handsome devil you! Thank you for the kind words and for all of your support. It was great to see you at the meeting the other day. I have been so busy with the store that I have not been able to participate lately. People like you are why I love the groups and love the store!
You are the best dude.
Robin
Robin! You go girl! What a great accomplishment! What county are you in? I would love to stop by some day...I live in Columbia County and have the feeling it's a bit of a haul to get to you, but nonetheless, I'd love to try.
I am so impressed with what you've put together and you look mahvelous!! Keep up the fantastic work. Amazing what we can do when we're inspired!

Amy
Hey Amy - wow it's been a long time! Completely my fault girl! I have been so busy, but things are getting better and I had some time so got on good old ObesityHelp! How the heck are you? You look absolutely fantastic! Incredible! I have to take some current pictures. I am down quite a bit since the last ones. I've also got to figure out the new profile and getting my old stuff on there. I just haven't had the time to work on it.
I hope we get a chance to catch up!
The store is in Dutchess County (Hopewell Junction) and it is quite a hike for you. Probably around 70 miles if I remember where you are correctly. If you ever feel like taking a nice ride though, we have decent hours and starting in March I will be there most of the time (right now I'm only in the store on Friday's and weekends).
Talk to you soon, honey.
Hugs - Robin
P.S. - YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!!!!!

Lori (and Amy) - Please let me know! I am at the store Friday - Sunday. Lisa is there on Wednesday and we have other staff there on Thursday. I'd be happy to get you directions. If you do plan on coming down, be ready to try some samples. We love to have people try the products and we have lots of sample products from powder and liquid vitamins to calcium lozenges to protein samples of all kinds!
Hope to see you.
Hugs - Robin
