Hey LisaMarie! Kickin the bushes to wake us up are ya? Good doin! I'm still in the program... working on my 10% weight loss. Have lost 20 pounds of the 26 I need to lose. I live in Florida but spend summers in Saratoga NY and am working with the bariatric progam at Albany Medical Center to get all my pre op stuff done here in Fla. so when I come back up North in May I hope to have the surgery with Dr. Singh. I spend hours and hours pouring over these forums doing a TON of reading so I will have no regrets that I didn't do my homework. I appreciate this website and all of you who spend so much time helping others. I hope when I'm out and on the losing side to be able to give back and help others as well. -Marianne C. Hi LisaMarie, I rarely post anymore anyway, but I figure now is as good as a time as any. Thanks for all your info about your surgeon. I have decided to go w/ Dr. Michele Zweifler. I am going in for my TT in 3 weeks, actually 22 days (not that I am counting.... much)!!!!! Couldn't be happier! Hope your doing well! Ilyssa

Hiding under the warm blankies! Brrrrrr! How are you feeling? How is your tt healing? Are you back at work yet? I am doing well. I am battling the carb monster in earnest now, just stepped up my exercise to try and kick start my metabolism into a more proactive (weight loss) state. I am in search of a new job, very unhappy at my current one, and that's taking a lot longer than I'd hoped. Guess patience is the word of the month for me. xoxoxo Amy

ive been in the gym every night mon thru thursday im 10 weeks out and down 41 pounds life is grand glad you are all well also

Hi Lisa, I'm here, just been working, working and more working. I finally finished all of my clearances and lost my 10% and now I am in limbo! I had my 2nd sleep study 1/24/07 and now waiting on the results so I can get my surgeon consult. I thought I was a patient person until now! This waiting is killing me knowing I am sooooooooo close More frustrating yet....I gained a lb and I have not cheated! I'm hoping it's muscle because I have been doing some weights and resistance, I was so upset when i first saw the scale. Janet

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time.My neice has been sick since Thankgiving and still in the hospital and my moms needs help almost everyday.So they take up all my time,plus I'm orientating a new nurse at work(she driving me nuts a language barrier).I don't think she going to make it in the ICU. I'm making out pretty good up here.The cold weather is refreshing,it snowed alittle bit uphere and my dog love the snow. Ohwell its good to be back and see everyone here and newbe.
