I thought it would be great if everyone could post some of their favorite Protein packed foods. I seem to be stuck in a rut and would LOVE some new ideas..... Here is one of my favs.... Refried Beans w/ shredded LF Mexican cheese sprinkled over it and then warmed in the microwave. Then I add a little mild Taco Sauce on that and a dolup of FF sour cream. It is like a burrito without the shell... Very YUMMY... Thanks in advance for all of your replies! Hugs... Lori

Hey Lori, Raw pumpkin seeds (pepitas) are one of my favoite high protein snacks. 1/4 cup has 9 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber, they are a bit high in fat though so if that is an issue for you, please do not eat them.

The good news, Scott, is that pepitas are high in good fats. The fats that pumpkin seeds have in them are essential fats for our bodies. Good snack idea! My favorite is Friendship cottage cheese (1/2 cup) with a dollop (1 tbsp) of Sugar Free Blackberry Jam in it. Yum! It has over 16 grams of protein in it. I also love Sorrento's Reduced Fat Stringsters. They have higher protein per stringster: 9 grams. I love yogurt with almonds on the side, also. Good snack. I love reading everyone's ideas. I get good ideas from them, too! Jen Halliday
