Dr. Supervised diet goes by quickly
I know everyone complains about the Dr. supervised diet required by so many of the insurance companies lately.
You know what? It goes really fast. I'm going to make my appt. for the Phsycologist for next month. I only have 2 more weigh ins with my Dr. and then I can make appts. to see the nutritionist at the surgeons office and then my consult with the surgeon.
My cardiologist said he will ok me for surgery after 1 year from my heart attack (given all my tests are good). Hopefully, that makes me right on target with my appts. I wouldn't be able to do anything until July anyway. I'm hoping that we can get the ball moving with everything and by the time my cardiologist gives me the go ahead, it'll be all systems go.
OK, I'll stop rambling now. I guess I was just getting a little excited to be able to put a little bit of a timeline together.

Rachelle,
It will be here before you know it hun so hang in there....seems you have it all planned out and that is just awesome.
I wish you all the best!

Definitely get excited Rachelle! That is wonderful! I think there is tremendous value in starting to address eating behaviors (by virtue of an MD supervised "diet") pre op. I apply everything I ever learned in my life about eating and lifestyle changes to help me be more successful post op. After the honeymoon period is over (which it definitely is for me), you have to work it big time. Without that prior experience, knowledge, knowhow, I'd be putting my weight back on now.
It's all good. And I'm thrilled to hear you're feeling well.
Keep on, girl.
Hugs,
Amy
