I have an odd problem. When I eat carrots I choke on them. No matter how well I chew them. Little bits of the carrots cause me to cough and choke. I like to dip them in ranch dressing and it helps to prevent this. I am pre-op, but following the diet my nutritionist gave me. Any ideas for something to dip my carrots in that is "good" for me??? Thank you, Betsy

fat free ranch, use non-fat sour cream and mix it with onion dip and that's a non fat dip. Carrots are not the best choice for dieting they are a high glycemic food, try celery, snow peas, broccoli, cauliflower, there are other fun veggies for you. Be Well, ANDI

Have you tried to steam the carrots a bit to soften them up? Hugs, Amy
