Just wondering for those of you who have had lower body lifts, how bad was the pain ? I will be having a 360 in 2 weeks, and am very concern about the pain. I had an open rny and a hernia repair and couldn't barely move at all due to the pain. Also, what was the best way to sleep post op. thanks, donna open rny mar 18 2003 282/143/140

Donna: I had lap rny little pain, LBL w breast aug same time little pain the drains were a nuisance you are numb mostly w the LBl nd some tightness I guess, pain though is individual, know hernia repair pain is probably the worst pin so I am guessing the lBl will be a cinch! be well. Jamie I slept on back or in recliner....I was up walking hrs after surgery and 4 miles day by 10 ays out but then I was real active preope lbl...up your protein for good healing 3 shakes a day Id recommend and take all vits as well, i became enemic after myplastics so watch the labs also postop ok! Donna, I have a lower body lift on 8/30. I didn't find the pain too bad. However, it was hard to get comfortable. If you don't have a recliner I would recommend renting one. I rented one and pretty much lived in it the first couple of weeks. I have more information on my blog if you are interested www.losingforlife.com. Best of luck with your surgery. The results are totally worth it! Mary
