Does anyone know how to figure nutritional facts out for food items? I have been using fitday.com religiously since surgery and have heard that you can input certain ingredients into recording your daily intake. However, I have not figured out how to do that. Okay, so my specific query is that I found terrific Paula Deen flourless peanut butter cookies made with Splenda and I need to know how to input the nutritional facts into fitday.com. I looked on foodnetwork.com, which is where I found the recipe, but they are "an entertainment website only" and are not required to carry nutritional facts, unless the show is specifically designed to be a health-related show. *frustrated sigh* Any suggestions? Please!

Fitday allows for you to look up ingredient, u could look each one up in the amount and then add and diide per serving!? Time consuming but worth it if u make often (i.e find u what the calories of the splenda is because the pourable has calories and carbs!, the peanut butter and eggs etc, u can make your own item once u know in fitday I know I used to vs reentering my shakes all the time.. is this the recipe? remember it may be lowcarb but it is NOT low calories!!! PB is a calorie dense food!!! 1 c smooth peanut butter 1 cup of Splenda pourable 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla Cream together butter and suar, add egg and vanilla and mix until smooth. Shape into 1 1/2 " balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten with fork to 1/8" thick. Bake in a 325 degree oven until lightly browned and firm to touch -- about 10 minutes basically figure 1 cup peanutbutter is: 1518 cal, 131g fat, 49 g carbs, 65 g protein 1 egg is: 74 cal 5 g fat 0 g carbs 6g protein 1 c splenda is: 96 cal in a cup http://www.splenda.com/page.jhtml?id=splenda/products/granular.inc I can not find how many arbs but I know in 1 cup it is not zero it is less than 1 per TEASPOON and there are 48 tsp in a cup (if my math is correct) so like lets say 20 g carbs in a cup! ~~~~~ GRAND TOTAL CALORIES IN RECIPE IS 1688 CAL 136 G FAT 69 G CARBS 71 G PROTEIN HOW MANY COOKIES DOES IT MAKE? DIVIDE THE ABOVE BY # COOKIES FOR EX IF IT MAKES 20 COOKIES EACH COOKIE WOULD HAVE 84 CAL, 6.8g fat, 3.5g carbs, 3.5g protien.... be well.
